Pros- gets hands back well, torques bat well, prior to firing hips, drops back elbow into the slot, very good bat path through the zone (nice and flat), great impact position (not extended-still good flex in right arm)
Con-needs a bit more load into back foot, which will assist in a more explosive hip pop.
I would give this swing a B+ at worst though. Does a lot of things right. When Bryson gets stronger and learns to shift his weight, I believe he will achieve ball exit speeds in the low to mid 80's, which will challenge some OF walls.
weight transfer is kinda weak

I feel that he could have more of a weight transfer as well...
ReplyDeleteI concur. The hip rotation is there. Add weight transfer and this is dynamite.
