Lightning in this bat

This is "rotational hitting" operating at a high level. This kid was a sophomore in high school at Mississippi State's camp 3 years ago. The follow through is the telltale sign of rotational hitting. This kid gets it. You would do well to try to copy what you can.

I think this phrase should be worked into our everyday lingo. I am with Brian on this one, so much versatility with this one...and so freakin awesome.

Teams for tomorrow's intersquad

The first 3 players listed for each team will pitch 6 outs for each team. We will start with a 1-1 count and play 6 outs before rotating. Parrish will catch when teams 1 and 2 hit and Sam or Ben will catch when Team 3 hits.

Order of pitchers as follows:

Sippel versus Team 1
Rooker versus Team 2
Lowe versus Team 3
Sam versus Team 1
Snipes versus Team 2
Long versus Team 3
Cassady versus Team 1
Tremmel versus Team 2
P Parrish versus Team 3

The competition for pitchers is to see who can have the most batters on or out in 2 or less pitches in this intersquad. (Since you are starting with a 1-1 count)

Team 1 (hitting first)  Lowe, Long, P Parrish, Davidson

Team 2 (hitting second) Sippel, Sam, Cassady, Qualls, Peeler

Team 3 (hitting third) Rooker, Snipes, Tremmel, Cole, M Parrish

We will stretch and throw from 3:05-3:20

Game starts at 3:25 and ends at 5:35.

20 days till Jacksonville Episcopal!!! Make each one count!!!
